Oh Celestia... This is a problem. There's no way Rainbow Dash can reverse this. They're going to have to trek all the way to Canterlot to get the the princesses to help them.
For the time being, "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" is a great show. However, what happens when they start running out of story ideas. What happens if Hasbro decides to milk as much money from these ponies as possible until their good name has been ruined by running out of gas story wise.
Well, here's a solution. Write one final story that makes all the character's lives a living hell before killing everyone you can. In doing this, make sure that if there are any survivors, they have no chance of returning to the status quo. The TV Tropes name for this is "Torch the Franchise and Run". It looks like the writers at Friendship is Magic could try this with a trick related to this picture.
Apparently, the finale of season 3 sees Twilight cast a new spell that switches everybody's cutie marks (except apparently her's). Depending on how far reaching the effects are, it could easily send all of Equestria into chaos. There is hope though, but Twilight actually has to make up new magic to fix this.
I wouldn't be surprised if the writers tried this. Both the Jim Henson show "Dinosaurs" and "ALF" managed to pull this off.
oh god, thats just's so F#%KING funny
